The Retribution of Mara Dyer

There are not enough adjectives to describe how unbelievably great this book is!
I want to rest the wildest flowers from the Amazon at Michelle Hodkins feet and worship her for creating such vibrant and exceptional characters who I would fight with till death for their retribution.
All questions that were percolating in the first two books are answered in this finale.
The trio that is Mara, Jamie & Stella together form a bond that is filled with power and strength to erase the fear from a roaring army of 1000 men armed with weapons of universal destruction.
Mara and Jaime's chemistry is undeniably unbreakable. Through blood, death and a future that was deemed to doom, Jaime stood by her, and honestly if it weren't for him, I think she and everyone else would be dead in a ditch somewhere. So I worship you too Jamal Roth for your wit, bravery and humour that had me laughing till tears pooled.
Noah Shaw, your devotion to Mara swelled my heart, broke it, healed it, then blew it up! The beauty, the emotion, the poetry that escaped your lips, I could not get enough and it was never enough. You form the four pivotal pieces that
completes the m.a.d.n.e.s.s.
READ THIS TRILOGY - You won't ever be sorry.
I would give this a full 5\5 but i wanted more Noah, so, 4.9\5 it is.

Lola And The Boy Next Door

Stephanie Perkins knows how to end a story so that your heart explodes with a mash up of all the good and bad feelings that have been building throughout this book. There were times when I had to put this down because it became monotonous at points where it shouldn't, maybe it was related to the fact that I couldn't empathize with Lola, maybe her character was a little young when it came to her inner thoughts and I couldn't grab onto her ramblings. But the ending was sufficient to make it all worthwhile.  3.5/5

Stone Cold Touch

StoneColdTouch Warning-This one has a butt load of spoilers. Ok, the love-hate relationship I had with this book inflicted a multitude of emotional strain on my brain! First of all Layla's naiveté could render any sane person to pull out every last stand of their hair! Yes, the cover portrays Zayne and Layla, so it's inevitable that Zayne would be much more profound in the story and therefore in Layla's life, but he's such a boring character! Gargoyle?! He should really just transform and sit on a building for the rest of his life, cause his human nature is a total bore.(Yawn) But when Roth returned from the depths of Hell, I wanted to do a backflip! I thought yes! Finally, the sexy, charismatic demon is back to save this suck-fest! But his personality was overturned, like he was a demon possessed by a demon, telling Layla all these damn lies to stay away from him, and she was so freaking naive and downright stupid to believe the hell bent crap, that I seriously wanted to throw this book at a wall or at her head, then get another copy and throw it at Roth's head. I was so pissed! But forgetting their lack of judgement, i forgave them. After feeding at the club beneath the Palastine, Layla became a girl I could hang out with, vivacious and fun! I really liked her 'high as a kite' personality! And i really admired Roth for not taking advantage. We did get a tease of his raw animalistic passion though and it was toe curling.(Clears throat) Moving on...Later, after visiting the coven, when he revealed another set of lies he kept from her, the real purpose of his sudden return from hell, and she, wanted to erase him from her life, I wanted to strangle her, force my hands into the book and rewrite that entire scene! My heart ached for Roth. But from page 424 onwards, every word that was written injected pure pleasure into my brain and it made up for everything! I'm not going to say what happens, go buy the damn book and read it to find out! In the end i really don't hate that i LOVE this book! 4.5/5
